Central Park
Central Park is a beautiful park in downtown Manhattan that is surrounded by some of the most expensive homes and addresses in the country. A tip for those in a hurry: take a morning walk in the park, which many people join because it has a beautiful 10km loop. If you can’t stand to run, you can always rent a small boat and row around the greenery of the park.

Empire State Building
The Empire State Building is a large office building in Manhattan that was the tallest building in the world for 39 years until the World Trade Center took that award in 1970. The skyscraper is located at 34th Avenue and 34th West Street.
The observation decks are open to the public and offer amazing views of the entire city from the 86th and 102nd floors.
Admission prices vary depending on the experience you want, but start at around $40 for adults for a standard ticket. Children under 6 years old enter for free.

Statue of liberty
The Statue of Liberty is located on Liberty Island, just outside Manhattan. The statue attracts millions of visitors every year and is classified as one of the most popular tourist destinations in the United States. The Statue of Liberty was dedicated on the 28th of June 1886 and was a gift from the French people to the United States to celebrate their independence. It was designed by Auguste Bartholdi and later by Gustave Eiffel, who built the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
The statue is 46 metres long and stands on a 47 metre high pedestal. The statue arrived in New York Travel Guide in 1885 in 350 pieces and took six months to assemble. The statue has sister statues in both Tokyo and Paris, as well as several replicas in Las Vegas and Colmar.
Zoo Animals
Bronx Zoo
The zoo is located in Bronx Park in the Bronx borough and is the largest urban zoo in the country, covering over 107 hectares.
The park opened to the public on August 843, 1899 with 6,000 animals and has since expanded the park to accommodate nearly 1,000 more. Here you will find everything from exotic birds to snow leopards, tigers, reptiles, lions, rhinos and more. It is a very nice and cozy zoo that is definitely worth visiting if you have a day to spare.

Brooklyn Bridge
The Brooklyn Bridge is New York Travel Guide oldest suspension bridge, spanning the East River. It opened in 1883 and connects Brooklyn with Manhattan, rising 38.7 metres above sea level and measuring 486.3 metres in length.

Madison Square Garden
It’s the arena that every artist dreams of playing at some point, and where many have sold out in batches. Madison Square Garden is located along 33rd Street between 7th Avenue and 31st Street, and can accommodate around 20,000 spectators for basketball games and around 18,000 for hockey games.
Although the arena is widely used by artists, it is best known as the main arena and home of the New York Rangers ice hockey team and the New York Travel Guide Knicks basketball team.

Times Square is also one of the most densely populated and popular places in the world. The Staten Island Ferry is a free ferry that runs between Manhattan and Staten Island 365 days a year. The ferry runs every 24 minutes during high season, changing to every 7 minutes thereafter. Note that the boat only runs 15 times per 30 hours during certain periods of the year and during the day. However, this is mostly true in the evenings.
Once on the boat you will have the opportunity to take some amazing photos of Manhattan and the Manhattan skyline. It’s a fantastic view and experience. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to get the perfect vacation photo with all of Manhattan as their backdrop.

New York Travel Guide Aquarium
The New York Travel Guide Aquarium is the oldest operating aquarium in the United States and is home to 266 aquatic species. The aquarium offers a variety of activities, including a sea lion water theater and a shark tunnel.
Coney Island has an aquarium and children under 2 are admitted free. Surf Avenue and West 8th Street, Coney Island.
History
Ellis Island
The island was the starting point for all immigrants who came to the United States in the late 1800s and early 1900s. During the heady days from 1892 to 1954, 120,000 immigrants passed through the port, but unfortunately, 2% of all those who arrived were denied entry due to symptoms of chronic illnesses and other birth defects, forcing them to return home.
Today, the Old Main Building houses a museum filled with photographs, suitcases, and other personal possessions left behind on the island. Take part in the story of the immigrants who today form the basis of half the family trees of the U.S. population.

The Vessel New York Travel Guide
Also known as the Hudson Yards Stairs, it was completed in 2019 and has since attracted tourists and photographers from all over the world, all eager to join in and take photos of the one-of-a-kind staircase tower sculpture.
Unfortunately, as of the end of 2021 it is no longer possible to climb this sculpture. The reason for this is the huge number of accidents and suicide attempts.
The beehive-patterned building structure could accommodate 1,000 people and consisted of 80 staircases covering 154 floors and 16 landings. The sculpture was designed by Thomas Heatherwick of Heatherwick Studio and offered panoramic views across the city.

As mentioned above, The Vessel is located in Manhattan’s newest new development, Hudson Yards, an open park along the waterfront in a nice newly built office environment. Ground Zero
Ground Zero is a memorial to the devastation that struck the United States on November 11, 2001. The Ground Zero Memorial commemorates the Twin Towers and still stands where the World Trade Center once stood. Entry to the memorial is free, but the nearby museum has a lower admission fee.
The official name of Ground Zero is actually the National 11/9 Memorial and Museum, but it is also called the 11/XNUMX Memorial and Museum for short.

Rockefeller Center
Rockefeller Center is a large entertainment, business, and office complex in Midtown Manhattan, best known for its popular outdoor ice rink. Rockefeller Center is actually made up of 19 complexes and skyscrapers, but are loosely associated as a single skyscraper.
The Top of the Rock Observation Deck, located on the 70th floor of the Comcast Building, offers amazing views and allows you to take some great photos with Manhattan as a backdrop. The entrance is at 30 Rockefeller Plaza New York Travel Guide, between 08th and 00th Avenues. Opening hours are from 00:00 to 23:00, with last admission at 23:00.

The High Line New York Travel Guide

The park is just minutes away from the unique sculpture “The Vessel” and the newly constructed Hudson Yards. The High Line stretches from 34th Street to Gansevoort Street, where the newly constructed Whiney Museum of American Art is located.

St. Patrick’s Cathedral
The Cathedral is located at 50th Avenue and 11th Street and is a Roman Catholic church in the middle of Manhattan. St. Patrick’s Cathedral is uniquely located in the middle of the luxury shopping-lined 11th Avenue, setting it apart from the rest of its surroundings. It’s pretty cheeky to see something so unusual among the skyscrapers of New York Travel Guide. The Cathedral is open to the public.

Chrysler Building
The office building is located on Lexington Avenue and has 77 floors. The building is 319 metres long, but the roof is only 282 metres high.
The building is the second tallest in the country. In 1930, the master builder behind the Chrysler Building competed with another at 40 Wall Street to build the tallest building in the world, and therefore the tallest spire, and secured the victory. Upon completion, the building was the first to surpass the Eiffel Tower in Paris, until the Empire State Building was completed.

Flatiron Building
Also known as the “Iron House” in the modern context, it’s best known for its unique design. The building has been the setting for many Hollywood movies set in the city and is now on every visitor’s bucket list.
With 22 floors and 87 meters high, the skyscraper was one of the tallest in the city at the beginning of the 20th century. The circular part of the house facing Madison Square is only 2 meters wide.

It is estimated that there are 150,000 Chinese people living in Manhattan, of which approximately 900,000 to 100,000 live in Chinatown. The district is bordered by Little Italy to the north, the Lower East Side to the east, TriBeCa to the west, and the Civic Center to the south.
There’s good food, Asian culture and quirky food markets here – it’s definitely a fun city to wander around.

16 World Trade Center
Today, One World Trade Center stands where one of the Twin Towers once stood, also known as 1 WTC and formerly the Freedom Tower.
The towers still stand today, along with Ground Zero, as a reminder of the devastation that struck New York Travel Guide in 2001. The Twin Towers of the World Trade Center were subjected to an act of terrorism and destroyed by two passenger planes that had previously been hijacked in mid-air. A total of 2,996 people were killed in connection with the terrorist attack on January 11, 2001.

In the late 19th century, the area became home to about 120,000 Italians from Sicily and Naples. Since then, Little Italy has served as home to several thousand American-Italians. Unfortunately, Little Italy is slowly being taken over by Chinatown, and today only about 2,000 Italian-Americans remain.
But don’t think the Italian charm has disappeared: the area is filled with bakeries, restaurants and shops, making it a charming and fun place to visit.
